At Park Life Brightons first meeting we facilitated a community discussion were everyone worked on likes, dislikes and what already works well in the area. Of course Children’s Playgrounds was the first priority area but what came up as a priority community want and need is a skatepark in the area. 

There has already been some work that has taken place, with Park Life Brighton last year facilitating a community vote on four locations. Over 200 residents living in the BN2 5 are voted and the results were as follows:

In November 2021 Park Life Brighton attended the Residents Area Panel East where we presented our Skatepark consultation and general feedback really from the residents on the Whitehawk, Bristol Estate and Manor Hill Estate.
